Relevant backgrounds include:
Proactive recent grads – i.e. founded a side-hustle, president of a uni society, have a bunch of internship experience etc.
Corporate experience (~1-3 years) – gained some corporate experience and now looking to make an impact in startups.
Startup or scale-up experience (~1-3 years) – some startup or scale-up experience and looking for the next step.

Founder's Associate
Founder's Associates are generalists who work directly with a startup founder on strategic initiatives, marketing, operations, product, sales and much more. The role is a brilliant opportunity to get a crash-course in various business areas. Common progression opportunities include gaining more seniority in a generalist role (i.e. to Chief of Staff) or specialising in a business area (i.e. to Product Manager).
Operations Executive
Operators form the backbone of the company, making sure it runs efficiently and with a solid strategy. The role is perfect for people who are super organised and practical and it allows you to play a fundamental role in ensuring all areas of a business run smoothly. There are lots of progression opportunities, including to Head of Operations.
Growth Associate
A growth associate ideates and executes growth strategies to expand a company's customer base. The role involves a mix of strategic thinking and creativity. You'll be optimising existing marketing campaigns, identifying new growth opportunities and executing on new initiatives. Common progression includes to Head of Growth or Head of Marketing.
Commercial Associate
A commercial associate is similar to a founder's associate but with (unsurprisingly), more of a commercial focus. The role usually involves being responsible for setting up or running a commercial function from scratch. As a commercial associate is commonly the first or an early non-technical hire, there are brilliant opportunities to rapidly grow within the role.
