Jumpstart’s BIG Startup 5K Returns for 2025

Jumpstart’s BIG Startup 5K is back! Following a wildly successful debut, Jumpstart is bringing the UK’s largest startup run back to Battersea Park on Monday 11th August 2025. 2025’s headline partners including HSBC Innovation Banking and WeWork.

Jumpstart, who matchmake startups with the top 1% of junior-mid level talent, is bringing back their iconic run in August 2025. Launched in 2024 as the startup world’s answer to the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, Jumpstart’s BIG Startup 5K brought together over 1,000 attendees from across more than 350 startups and VCs. From leading VCs like Entrepreneur First, Balderton, and Zinc VC to the UK’s most exciting startups and scaleups including Autogen AI, and Lendable, this first-of-its-kind event celebrated the exceptional talent in the UK’s startup ecosystem like never before.

“Last year, we weren’t sure if the startup world wanted something like this, and then 1,000 people showed up,” said Matthew Sarre, co-founder of Jumpstart. “It was amazing … a mix of founders, startup operators, and investors all coming together. It was clear that this had to become an annual moment for the UK startup scene.”

With ticket sales already flying, 2025’s event is shaping up to be even bigger. Participants are welcome to run, jog, or walk the 5K, before everyone comes together for a festival-like celebration with great food, drinks, and live DJ (courtesy of our partners at Novabook).
